Mark was absolutely amazing. He captured our day so perfectly, I keep watching the super movie over and over. I barely saw him throughout the day, felt like he was just blending in and he captured everything! Would definitely recommend to anyone. Thank you so much Mark.

We got married in January 2019. We had booked with Mark a while before the wedding from a recommendation from some friends. We are so glad we did. 

Our movie is perfect, wonderful and exactly what We had hoped for and more. Capturing the memories of our special day.

Anyone thinking of booking you won’t regret it. Mark was brilliant from our first few emails to book, on the day quietly filming in the back ground, to the emails keeping us up to date with our movies progress. We really could not of asked for more.

We were initially undecided if to have a videographer as we were worried it would be too intrusive in the moment on our wedding day but we asked our photographer for recommendations anyway and Mark came highly recommended by her. I got in touch with Mark and he reassured us that he is very discreet on the day whilst still capturing all of the special moments. Having the video is without a doubt the best decision we made when wedding planning - Mark captured our day perfectly, we can't stop watching  it! The video is so lovely and natural and we genuinely couldn't be any happier with the finished products. Our family and friends all love it too!

We would highly recommend Mark based on the quality of the wonderful videos he has produced of our wedding in July 2018 - this was a very big decision for us and we couldn't be happier that Mark was our Videographer. Mark has created the most perfect snapshot in time with all the happy memories we shared, as opposed to just a video of the key moments. We will be forever grateful to Mark for creating this memory of the day and we've had the most wonderful time re-living it with our family and friends. 

Why did we choose Mark? 

When we were planning the wedding we knew we wanted a Videographer, but we found that so many of them were really cheesy with soppy backing music and uninspiring shots / clips. When we found Mark's website, we loved that his style is to tell the story of the day and capture the memories of every element, outside of the standard parts of the wedding. This mirrored the style of the Photographer we used and we couldn't be happier with the end result. 

What package did we choose?

We went for the Supermovie and then an extended movie and are delighted that we went for both options. The Supermovie is great as a taster of all the key moments of the day and I love the narration of the reading, ceremony and speeches. The extended movie is perfect as it takes the Supermovie to the next level, includes all of our guests and really showcases all of the happy moments and memories across the day.

What did we love the most about the Videos?

I'm not a fan of being filmed and was really dreading seeing the Videos as I wasn't expecting to like how I came across in the clips - I still can't believe how much of a fantastic job Mark has done, as I love every second of all of the content he has produced. Mark has captured our personalities and the mood of the day perfectly, and has gone far beyond producing just a video. I was so impressed at the level of every detail of the day Mark captured and the sound quality too. We selected songs for the different videos, and he has even managed to weave in the song lyrics with the content of the video which is fab!

What was it like working with Mark? 

Mark was very easy to communicate with and always responded in a timely manner. On the day of the wedding he worked really well with our Photographer, and what we love is that the video brings to life so many of the photo memories! We didn't notice that he was there at all and he managed to get pretty much every guest into our Video, which was really impressive! After the wedding, Mark helped to guide us through the next steps in bringing our videos together - such as selecting pictures and songs for the end product. He kept in touch with us during the editing process, right up to when we received our DVDs in the post and the Vimeo link of the Supermovie. 

Why would we recommend Mark? 

Mark has a real talent and we feel very fortunate that he was available for our Wedding - he has exceeded all expectations we had of him, and we can't thank him enough for the flawless Videos we now have to remember the day. If you want to have a classy, fun and authentic snapshot of your big day, then Mark is the perfect choice.

We booked Mark for our wedding and couldn’t recommend him more, so professional and personal from start to finish!

My husband was unsure about being filmed on the day but you wouldn’t have even known Mark was there, he was so unobtrusive, so many special memories were captured.

The way you do your work during the day is absolutely brilliant!! We know you like to keep a style of being in the background as it helps to capture the natural moments (even when I start nattering to you haha!!) but your subtleness with your work meant you were able to get one of the best shots and moments of our day for us during the ceremony!! We really don’t know how you managed to position yourself at the front of the church with a dragon of a verger!! Haha! It’s so wonderful that you captured our vows from the front and you can see our expressions and lovely little moments during the ceremony. It truly is stupendous work ☺️☺️

Hiring 'Our Wedding the Movie' to film our wedding day was one of the best choices we made as we now have a really special memento of our day which we can keep forever and watch in years to come!

I first found out about 'Our Wedding the Movie' from my sister's wedding which Mark was there to film. I was really impressed at how subtle he was as you hardly noticed him there at all. Then after seeing the end result of the film, this really changed my opinion on home wedding movies which I had imagined might be really cheesy, but Mark's work captured my sister's wedding beautifully.

So when it was my wedding I was certain that I wanted 'Our Wedding the Movie' to capture our day, and I knew there would be no regrets. My now-husband took a little convincing as he feels uncomfortable in front of the camera and felt that other guests might also be. However I was able to convince him after my experience of seeing Mark's work from my sister's wedding and reassuring him that we would not even notice him there on the day and that the end result would really be worth it.

Communication with Mark in the lead up to the day was always so easy and friendly and I knew he would be reliable and would do a great job.

On the day itself Mark was incredibly professional. They also really mean it when they say they are 'discreet and unobtrusive' in their filming as so many friends and family following the wedding day had commented that they didn't even realise the wedding was being filmed, which was just what we'd hoped for as we knew many guests might have felt uncomfortable if there had been a camera in their face. Both my husband and I also felt the same, and never noticed that we were being filmed!

We were so excited to watch our dvd when it arrived and were really happy to have three copies so we could share them with our parents. The film Mark edited together over music we had chosen was really fantastic and captured all the elements of our days just how we remembered it. It was really lovely to be able to watch back moments we weren't able to see on the day itself, i.e. guests arriving at the church and then later at the venue when we were off having our couple photos taken. The footage of the day in the film felt really natural and un-staged which is commendable to their style of filming discreetly and unobtrusively.

If you are considering having your wedding filmed, I couldn't recommend 'Our Wedding he Movie' enough. You will get a warm, friendly and professional service tailored to what you want. It is definitely worth the money as you will have your special day captured forever, where perhaps small moments of the day may be forgotten with time, having a film to re-watch keeps them alive! 

My husband and I would like to say a huge thank you to Mark from Our Wedding the Movie. Our wedding movies are absolutely amazing (I cried watching them). It’s so nice to be able to re-live the whole day. I would definitely recommend using OWTM. 

We decided to get a videographer just a few months before our wedding and we are both so glad we did now. For us the video really brings the day to life and offers a really great angle that a still picture definitely doesn't do.  Marks communication from when we inquired to when we got the video and any questions after was always excellent. He was very fast at responding and flexible as we live abroad. 

We had a supermovie and love the fact we can hear our vows in the video. We are really glad we chose this video and it is nice Mark offers these different formats. 

I couldn't recommend Mark high enough, we are so glad we chose Mark to really capture our day and will look forward to watching the video in years to come!

We weren't going to hire a videographer for our wedding, until we saw a friend's video also completed by the lovely Mark and we booked him very soon after viewing theirs!

Mark was perfect on the day, he captured so many special moments and the SuperMovie is such a pleasure to watch, it brought back the whole day in such a beautiful and thoughtful way and I watched it everyday for 2 weeks after we got it!

I would recommend Mark to anybody, his videos are thoughtfully constructed and really capture the emotion of the day and matched our personalities too. He was nearly invisible on the day, but he must have been everywhere at once!

During the wedding day itself Mark just got on with his work, he didn't bother us or "direct" us, he was just quietly in the background filming all the natural shots which have made the movies so special

As we couldn't decide we eventually went with a mini movie and a classic movie and we are so happy with the results. The movies are brilliant.

A lovely man to deal with!

My husband and I decided that a wedding video would be an important keepsake that we could treasure for years to come, especially as some of our relatives are elderly.  We did a lot of research into a Videographer for our wedding which was in May 2016. We found Our Wedding The Movie through Google and we really impressed with what we saw on his website.  We had also contacted our photographer to see if he recommended anyone too and Mark was the person he recommended.  We absolutely trusted our photographer so his recommendation, plus the work he does, had us sold!  

We found contacting many people for our wedding extremely difficult, especially with long working hours, but contacting Mark was easy and he replied instantly, often giving us a call later on in the evening when we were both around.  From talking to him he was knowledgeable and professional without being pushy at all!  He understood exactly what we wanted for the day and knew that he would reflect this in the video.  He was really chilled and this completely put us at ease. We ordered a cinematic movie and a long movie of the wedding - they are worth every penny!

I have to be honest and say I don't really remember seeing Mark much on the day!  He appeared to be one of the guests and didn't impose into the photographs or the ceremony, which we really appreciated!  As someone who is camera shy, I was quite grateful that we didn't have to do any cheesy set up shots! 

When we received our DVDs, we were astounded at the movies, they were better than we could have ever imagined.  There were so many treasured moments that have now been captured forever; grandparents smiles, young ring bearers personalities captured perfectly, all the little touches we had put into our day were captured.  It was also lovely to see the things that we missed.  It is honestly amazing - so clear the hours and the hard work that was spent but it was worth every minute.  Thank you so much Mark, we absolutely love our DVDs and can't say how grateful we are for the moments that you captured for us.

With all the other costs of a wedding, having a videographer wasn't top of our priorities - but knowing what we do now, it was some of the best money we have ever spent! After looking round a number of videographers and not being convinced we suddenly came across OWTM. The movies looked great and the website looked great - right up our street and our style. After a lot of umming and ahing and trying to decide if we could justify spending more money for a video, we finally took the plunge, and we are just so glad we did!

From the word go, Mark was friendly and patient with us as we tried to make up our mind! and we are glad he didn't give up! He was very understanding and was great with organising the payments so it made it easier for us at a time so close to the wedding when money can be tight.

Before the day Mark was only ever a phone call or email away if any questions came up and throughout the whole process was very approachable and friendly.

On the day, Mark was great at talking to people including our vicar and got a great location to film! and throughout the day you kind of just forget he's there (not in a horrible way haha) but he's very discreet and just gets on with what he loves doing.

The movie itself was amazing!!! Well worth the wait! We couldn't be happier, getting to relive the day again and see things we didn't get to see ourselves was just magical! From the big moments to capturing the little details - it was all there! You can really tell the passion, experience and skill that goes into making the movie, It was simply stunning! Marks style is amazing, creative and emotive, it is not in anyway old fashioned like some videos we had seen from others. He really captures the day in such a magical way. 

We also ended up having the mini-movie which is put on an online link to share with friends and family! This is one song long, but is so so beautiful and captures the day perfectly. It was great for sharing with everyone. We are so glad we went for this too!

From first contact to receiving our wedding movie, Mark from Our Wedding the Movie has been nothing but kind, creative. and helpful. 

My husband and I are not ones who loved to be filmed, but on our wedding day we hardily noticed Mark was there filming. However, the movie we have just received captured every detail and emotion of our wedding day so so beautifully - we were stunned.

Mark is professional and punctual and a great person to have at your wedding and was actually recommended to us by our photographer who said after working alongside him at previous weddings 'he's so easy to work alongside and just fits right in - his work is stunning' and the photographer couldn't have been more correct.

I can't thank Mark enough for capturing the special memories of our wedding so beautifully - it is everything we asked for and much more. I would recommend him to everyone but I would book him quick as my whole family have now said they want to book him for there weddings

After being let down at short notice by another videographer I went into complete panic thinking that our special day would not end up being captured for us to re live for years to come. OWTM was recommended by a close friend who used them the year before. Within hours of emailing Mark I received a phone call to say he was free and even though we were miles away he would love to come and capture our day.

Mark was a star from the beginning and reassured me that everything would be fine. On the day he was absolutely brilliant he blended in not making anyone feel like they were being filmed. This weekend we received our footage and WOW it is everything and more that we were hoping for. Thank goodness we were let down as I don't think for one minute we would have got anything like we have from you!

In the end we opted for the short and long movie and so glad we went for both..... If any of you are not sure which to go for then just go for both you won't be disappointed- Some amazing footage and memories we can watch time and time again for years to come.

We can't thank Mark enough for the incredible Wedding Video/ movie he created for us! I have watched it at least 10 times since receiving it and have been in (happy!) floods of tears every time! We came across OWTM while looking for a videographer on the internet. We were looking for a modern movie style video and were so pleased when we found Mark and loved the work he had done previously.

We were not sure if we should get a videographer or not and I am so pleased that we did. It is a great way to relive the day and to share the highlights with friends and family who could not join us. The highlights video is perfect as people can get a feel for the day in 20 minutes rather than having to sit through hours of footage. Many of our guests have commented on how much they have enjoyed watching the highlights. It is made so easy as Mark puts the video up on his website so you can just e.mail out the link. I really like the fact the highlights were to music that we had chosen ourselves. I remember looking at other highlight videos particularly with audio and finding them very cringeworthy. This is much better!

Mark offers a very professional service and on the day I barely even noticed he was there. On the day Mark captured all the key parts and on the DVDs even included extra bits like 40 minutes of filming from the ceilidh dancing. He also sent 3 copies of the DVDs which were a great Christmas present for our parents. He really went above and beyond. Mark was always very quick to reply to e.mails and very flexible to fit in with our plans.

I would wholeheartedly recommend getting a videographer and certainly recommend using Mark and OurWeddingTheMovie for this.

We came across Our Wedding the Movie by chance when trawling through the numerous pages of Wedding Videographers and thank God we did! He replied promptly to any request and made us feel completely at ease!

Truth be told, when we received our photos we were a little disappointed as they did not quite turn out the way we had hoped, the video however has more than made up for it.

Mark went above and beyond for us on our day as he tackled our tiny church, two vicars and eight bridesmaids perfectly! We will cherish the video which we didn't watch until our first wedding anniversary, as we wanted to wait so it felt new to watch. It was worth the wait! Our decision to get a Videographer was a last minute one as my bridesmaids said we’d regret it if we didn’t and boy, were they right! It’s easy to get carried away with wedding spending and all the things people tell you that you should and shouldn’t have, but this is something I’d 100% advise any bride to get and the quality of video we got from OWTM was amazing.

Mark was perfect – we barely noticed he was there and you can tell that in the video as everyone is being so natural, smiling and chatting to each other. He did an excellent editing job, mixing all the little details of the venue with the people shots and I think he literally captured every guest there in a frame at one point or another. We have the montage video with the music that shows the whole day and chapters for important bits like the ceremony. The video was tasteful, romantic and captured the day better than I could have imagined.

You won’t remember why you needed favours, or what you got for the extra 00’s you spent on flowers, but getting a professional quality video from OWTM means you will get to re-live your day forever when all the memories get a little fuzzy.

Wow, wow, wow, wow!

I have no more words, thank you so much for our wonderful Wedding DVD! We watched it last night and I was in floods of tears! It captures the essence of the day and also little bits that we just didn't see. It was lovely to see everyone arriving and Olly nervous before my arrival! Also, so pleased you got so much my Uncle Ken in there too!

We love the way that your mic picked up all the throw away comments from the top table during the speeches! It really felt like we were back there again!

I am so glad that we chose to get a wedding DVD, it means we can re-live our special day over and over again!

Mark our movie will be treasured for the rest of our lives.. Its a true work of of art! Having a movie made for our wedding hadn't crossed our mind until I first met you when I knew that there was a certain air of qualty about yourself.

And mate you have proved me right! Your a true professional and I wouldn't hesitate in recomending you to anyone I know who's planning to tie the knot.

On the day you wouldn't of even known he was there, like a sniper in the undergrowth :-) But captured eveything. The movie has had us in fits of laughter and shedding tears, and having the option to have it filmed in HD was a desicion I'm glad we made.

Our Wedding The Movie offer a professional service, Mark is both friendly and flexible with the range of options available, he is also prompt with his replies to e-mails which is very helpful when planning a wedding!

The videographer is seemingly invisible on the day and manages to capture the wedding in a natural light.

The work put into editing the video to our chosen music was excellent. And we would recommend the video messages - although unpopular for guests to make, are hilarious and heartfelt to watch!

one thing me and my new husband couldnt agree on was whether to have a videographer for our wedding and after viewing countless samples of the same old cheesy wedding stuff, i decided not to bother, that is untill i came accross our wedding the movie (owtm) it was exactly what i wanted, i mustve watched the wedding samples online a million times that night, and phoned mark straightaway the next morning to book up with him.
on our wedding day, mark was fab, he put us both at ease, and just blended in with our guests, he captured sooooo many moments that me and my husband either missed or couldnt remember from our special day. the video messages at the end of our movie were awesome too!!!!! my family and friends all love my wedding video, cos it is sooo wonderfully unique and that is all thanks to mark at OWTM!!!! also i love being the star of my very own movie!!!

Our Wedding The Movie (OWTM) is AMAZING!!! If you’re planning on getting a videographer for your wedding, I would STRONGLY recommend OWTM.

We got married in August 2011, at first we couldn’t decide whether to get a videographer, but now we realise this is a MUST for a wedding! Memories can fade and although you have brilliant looking pictures, they don’t remind you of the words and emotions.

Booking OWTM was one of the best decisions we made. It was one of the happiest days of our lives and thanks to Mark (from OWTM), we now have a fabulous wedding video so we will never forget how amazing and emotional our day was.

So, why choose Mark / OWTM over the others?

Not only is the price brilliant but, the level of service is outstanding.

Mark was truly a pleasure to deal with which is very important when planning a wedding. He is patient, helpful, talented, hard working and went above and beyond what is expected.

Leading up to and on the big day, Mark helped make the process as simple and easy as possible. I was always able to get in contact with Mark. He made me feel confident that he knew exactly what was needed of him, which was one less thing to worry about on the wedding day.

On the day, everything went smoothly and Mark settled in perfectly. We (including the guests) didn’t notice the camera at all which meant everyone felt relaxed and comfortable.

The end result is amazing. We can’t stop watching the video and I have never seen one like it. Mark captured some amazing, natural moments that I will never forget. It also meant that I (as the bride) got to see things I didn’t get to see on the day as I was too busy getting ready! The way Mark has put cut and placed the clips together is outstanding and the music is superb. It really builds up a story and stirs up so many emotions. No matter how many times we watch it we still well up and wish we could do it all over again.

Even though I’ve got so much more praise for Mark and OWTM I’m going to stop writing now :o)

We were not sure about getting a wedding video but we are now so pleased that we did and that we chose OWTM. Mark was really good to deal with and worked really hard on the day making sure he captured all the little details that we simply didn't get chance to take in on our big day.

The video from OWTM captured it perfectly and our guests who have seen the movie didn't even realsie that there was someone filming the day. The edit was great and the quakity of the final product real is more like a movie.

Would not hesitate to reccomend to anyone.

I just wanted to say how wonderful OWTM was and how glad I am that we chose to have them film our wedding.

Mark was a complete star! He worked a very long day non stop making sure he captured everything, whilst in the main going un-noticed during the day which is exactly what the guests need to forget their being filmed and ensure you get loads of great natural shots.

He captured all the little details as well as the happy mood of the day and it was beautiful to watch back and see things we had missed on the day. Although the photos are amazing in their own way, its a totally different experience to actually see people laughing and chatting and Mark was able to catch all of that.

It's lovely to have a 20 minute video we can show to people without worrying they will get bored - as well as having the ceremony and first dance and speeches that we can watch on our own. Its beautifully filmed and something we will watch again and again.

I would highly recommend Mark, he was a pleasure to deal with from the first email through to the delivery of the dvd.

We were nervous about getting photos done at our wedding so you can imagine what we thought about getting a video but everyone kept telling me if they had had one done they loved it and if they hadn't, they wished they had. So after doing a little research and seeing some very 1980's looking video's we were losing the will to live until...OWTM! Ta-da!

From the moment we watched the samples on the website we knew we'd found our videographer. And after speaking to Mark our hearts were set on having a wedding movie. This was a no-brainer, there are so many decisions to make when planning a wedding but this is an easy one.

During the build up Mark was so professional and easy to talk to, on the day he was polite and friendly but blended in so well I think people forgot he was there (no offence Mark!) which makes for a great movie as everyone looks so natural and not staged or uncomfortable (we've all seen those awkward moments!) and the movie itself is AMAZING we went for the cinefilm which suited our venue beautifully. Some of the moments that Mark have captured are truly beautiful such as a father and daughter walking around the gardens, or a group of friends laughing and a grandfather lifting his grandchild into the air, just little moments that we would have missed if not caught on film.

Just to say how pleased we are with our Wedding Movie! It couldnt be better and my husband and I really enjoyed watching it after our big day. Somehow Mark managed to capture so many moments in the day that we hadn't seen so it was really exciting to watch.
