Swinfen Hall Hotel, in the heart of rural Lichfield

Swinfen Hall Hotel, is a magnificent 18th-century Georgian Manor House set in 100 acres of historic parkland, an ideal wedding venue, making it the perfect setting for civil wedding ceremonies and wedding receptions in Lichfield, Staffordshire. In Summer, enjoy a leisurely champagne reception on the cocktail terrace overlooking the beautiful gardens, ornamental ponds and private deer park.

Winter weddings also have their charm, with soft candlelight, glittering chandeliers and log fires crackling in the grates. During December, the hotel is swathed in festive Victorian garlands and a 20-foot Christmas tree lights up the ballroom. Swinfen Hall Hotel is licensed to hold civil wedding ceremonies, civil partnerships and renewal of vows, thus providing a complete service. There are a variety of rooms available for the wedding breakfast from a private dining room for 10-20 guests to the ballroom which will comfortably seat 50-110 guests. A fabulous Staffordshire wedding venue - inside and out. During the summer months a Champagne reception can be held on the terrace overlooking the gardens and ornamental ponds with rolling views of our private deer park and the lake beyond. This picturesque setting makes a lovely backdrop for photographs and a stunning start to your special day. The South Wing, built in the Edwardian period by Colonel Michael Swinfen-Broun, reflects the elegance and splendour of that age. An extensive part of the wing is an oak-panelled ballroom which has a raised stage and fully sprung dance floor. The ballroom can comfortably seat up to 110 guests for a wedding breakfast and with the adjoining bar, can accommodate up to 160 guests for an evening party.
