Changes at Stoneleigh Park
I've been watching the comments from disappointed brides re this venue. It's very distressing and we are really sorry that this is happening to so many brides and grooms to be.
Some information has come into my office that might help you get to the bottom of it all and maybe rescue your bookings:

We are in exactly the same
We are in exactly the same boat, booked the princethorpe pavilion, paid deposit booked band sorted decor/ paper goods now being left without any venue, most are fully booked for that date and we have been left to completely cancel our wedding. Bad service, don't choose this venue

review of stoneleigh Park
We booked the Princethorpe Pavilion 18 months before the wedding- it was perfect for what we wanted. The wedding coordinator was excellent. The problems started when she went on maternity leave. They messed us around with the catering arrangements- prices ended up way above initial quotes. The rooms we had reserved in the lodge were suddenly no longer available. With elderly guests it was important to have rooms on site. Then suddenly, 6 months before the wedding they have cancelled, the pavilion is apparently unsafe. We are left to find another venue, which at this late stage is hard within budget. Invites were ordered and decorations bought to suit the venue, yet they are not prepared to offer compensation. I do not recommend this venue at all.
