We meet Greg at the wedding fair in London excel and really loved the package he had, he seems so friendly and welcoming when we got in touch to book with him! He sound so keen and then I stop hearing from him. I send so many emails regarding our wedding and what the plan is but never heard back and tried calling but he phone was always turn off! A couple of days before our wedding he gets in touch asking for the plan and said that he hasn’t not reviewed any emails or messages from myself or my partner. We had to find a new wedding photography 10 days before our wedding no thanks to Greg! And we are still waiting on our full refund!

I cannot believe all the reviews I am reading. I am having the exact same issue with Greg! I got married last June, have my digital copies (not the best) but no physical albums meant to have 11 in total. He is ignoring all emails and calls. My dad has tried so many times also, finally said last week he would get a proof of the album over to me... still nothing. I’m taking this future and will do whatever it takes to get this scumbag from coning anymore people. 

Weddings are expensive brought, let alone having some idiot steal over £1,200 of you!!

Hi, having read all the other reviews I felt I needed to write one of my own. We had Greg photograph our wedding last July. I have suffered the same problems as others but having read some feel thankful I have my wedding photos - albeit the state of them!

I had a back up photographer organised as I couldnt get hold of Greg in the leads up the wedding and was getting worried. I finally managed to get hold of him on facebook messager - we had mutual friends in common! He also said his Mom and Dad were unwell and that was the reason. On the day of the wedding Greg did turn up and the second photographer had come from Kent as his father was too unwell to come.  He also just dissapeared on the night as someone else had mentioned.

I had to chase and chase and chase for my photos - I finally received 200 edited photos and was told that was it! I asked if I could have all the photos he took unedited and I would go from there. I did in the end after hassling receive 2000 photos - some of which I couldnt believe he hadnt put in the 200 edited highlights first ones.  Photos are blurred, over lighted or too dark. There is not one photo of me and the Bridesmaids in full length, he also missed photos with key members (even though he had a list of people he had to capture.) There are hardly any of my 2 children. My Mom wanted 1 photo - her doing up my dress... we posed for this photo in the morning yet he didn't get it - he has my Moms back with me standing in front of her - heads chopped off and you cant see what she is doing - it's awful and upsetting.

I could go on and on but I think I may have got 'lucky' if I can say that having read other comments.

I never received my album or mini albums or anything we paid for.

If anyone does go to court or Watchdog please let me know as I will also put forward my case.

Keep us posted with the watchdog situation. We are in a similar position although we managed to get one album and digital photos but that’s all. We’ve been married 3 years this August and we have tried so hard to rightfully get what we paid for but as you all no luck.

Lydia this is similar to us. We weren't happy with the images he sent us after our wedding in August and finally got hold of him to tell him so. He then sent all images from the day but in low resolution for us to select the ones we wanted and he said he'd edit those. I was happy when he sent them as there were some better ones in there than the ones he put on the original link. Why he chose the ones he did compared to what was available I don't know! He'd sent blurry ones when there was the same image in focus for example. But there were still ones missing that I would've thought were a given for weddings; no full length one of my dress, none of our rings etc. We too had specific family shots missing that were on the list I gave him before the wedding. There was zero attention to background detail as the ones after the ceremony had cars in the background when to the other side of us there were cornfields which would've been so much better. In the bridal room with the dresses hanging up there were spare hangers in shot, flip flops and even his other camera in the background.

After sending the list of photos I wanted editing he stopped replying to emails, texts and ignored calls. That was in November and we've not heard from him since. He's removed all the links to the original photos he put up as well as the link which had the low res images on (not that we could've done anything with the low res images as they only look ok as thumbnail size). So we have nothing.

It's an absolute disgrace how he can treat people this way.

Oh god. We just got our photos and they are awful. I could cry. Thankfully the ones on people's cameras are far superior. Am going to start writing now.

Interesting that he's actually sent images through and has been in communication with you as he's still ignoring us and also our wedding insurance company. Can I ask when you got married Jacqui?

Like most of the other reviews I am in exactly the same situation. I found this company at the National Wedding Show at Olympia in September 2016. All seemed ok when I booked him, me and my family chatted to him at the show (father was on a break conveniently) and viewed his work.

I  booked the gold package thinking it was a reasonable deal and wanted two photographers to cover the day. We struggled to get the engagement shoot booked as he was always busy and eventually gave up on that. On the day only Greg turned up as his father was ill. Greg just disappeared towards the end of the evening without saying goodbye and only covered 7.5hrs of the 9hrs he was booked for, although that turned out to be the least of our worries.

Following the wedding he was very hard to get hold of and not responding to any emails or phone calls. After 3 months he said his mother was ill (seems to be a recurring trend - stroke this time). But he did send a link to the pictures on the website. However the quality is atrocious and we cannot use them. Mixture of blurry, pixelated, bad colour, feet chopped off to name a few. They are so pixelated when printed they have no definition.

We have emailed and complained about them to no avail. We have had no correspondence for 4 months and have received nothing else. We have send a letter as we believe he is in breach of the consumer goods act.

We have reported this to our bank who are investigating him under fraud and have also recommended reporting him to the police action fraud line.

Next step is court.

Warning to all brides. Please stay clear you will only be disappointed and out of pocket

Never ever ever use these people complete waste of money and space. Never answer calls never reply to message. Still waiting for my album's 2 years later.

I' so glad I am not the only person to have problems with Greg. We had our wedding in May 2017 and booked the gold package and though we had a really nice person who seemed to know what he was doing. But come my wedding day he said he was stuck in Italy and that was the last I heard from him on that way he sent someone else who only really does car photos. Once the wedding was over Greg would never get back to use and we would always have to keep calling every day a few times a day to get any respone back the only reason o think we even have our wedding photos was because of the second potographer. We are now at going to court over this. I have had a few people ask me on Facebook about him and they have said they have had the same problem.

We had the same situation - We found Greg Sutton and his father Ronald (Ron) at the Birmingham Wedding Fair (NEC) in 2015. They were very silver tongued. We paid over £1500 for the gold package and were really pleased with the attitude of Greg - alas we never spoke to his father again and had the excuse that his mum was very ill and his father was unable to attend the wedding on 11/11/16. Instead he brought another photographer who seemed professional.

It took ages to get the proofs through to choose for our album. When we finally did, Greg fell off the planet! He didn't answer his phone, text messages or emails.

Sadly we learnt about everybody else plight a little too late. Greg deactivated his mobile phone number on www.workhorseweddings.co.uk but recently has reactivated it again (I presume for 2018 customers).

I didn't know what else to do so I decided to search the internet using company's house, who.is and google. Everything I needed to know about Greg Sutton, his website, his company dealings and his father Ronald was free to see. All the information found is in the hands of our solicitors. If that fails to work... Next step Watchdog!

Thank you for the details as we our going through our insurers, so the more information we can give to them the better.

We also booked the Gold package but have nothing from our day, not even any images to view online as Greg removed the links. Like you, we haven't received any response to our emails, calls and messages and also noticed he deactivated his number just before Xmas then reactivated again in the New Year.

I've just found this page. I unfortunately don't even have a single photo of my wedding day let alone albums and canvases. I'm heartbroken that I won't even have a single picture from my wedding day and £2000 for nothing. Please can you let me know if you have any luck getting to greg as right now I'd take just having my photos.

Sadly we are in the same position. We booked the Gold package when we met Greg at The National Wedding show and have nothing from our day in August last year. All online links have been removed so we can no longer even view the images. Greg has gone off the radar since November and is ignoring all emails, calls and messages. The images he did take when we could originally view them weren't good and we complained to him about this - no direction on the group/family shots, poor colour correction, poor composition etc. It really feels like he could not care less about ruining couples weddings.

We are currently going through our Wedding Insurance to try to recover the cost, although that won't solve the issue of having no photos. Thankfully we had an amazing videographer so we have that to watch and look back on, but it's not the point.

Very disappointed in Greg, at the wedding show at the NEC in Birmingham he was very friendly and leading up to the day again very friendly. Unfortunately it all went wrong from the day we got married, he turned up late, according to our guests he fell out with the second photographer he had bought with him, and we haven’t had our albums. We got married on 9/9/16 I.e 16 months ago!

We are now in the same position as other reviewers in that we are taking legal action against this company. Save yourself a lot of heart ache and book a photographer you either know or that has been recommended by someone you know. I would not recommend getting the services of anybody through a wedding based upon our experience.

My review does not differ from the below at all. Paid for album was promised 4-6 weeks now been 14 weeks.

I also thought the wedding show would do certain checks and the supplier would be reliable.  Do not get tricked my the friendly persona.

I am now pursuing legally and I encourage anyone who has received the same bad service to do the same. Please feed this back to wedding shows/sites. We do not want other couples to have to go through this.

I would go on to say how I'm disappointed with the service I am. But from the other reviews you can clearly see this. I would add that this is the only thing you really keep from your wedding day and for the bloke to be so heartless and have no care for other peoples feeling is crazy. I would give your  mate a camera and save the money

Have not received a good service since my wedding. Workhorse turned up late to my wedding on the day which i gave the benefit of the doubt about but then i have ordered 2 framed pictures and paid for these since my wedding which i have never received - I was quick enough to get a reply when i inquired about purchasing these pictures but i have chased and chased since not receiving them and i am either ignored or given excuses as to why i have not received them, its been 3 months or so now since i purchased these and i have heard nothing from them- Considering i found this company at the National wedding show i am surprised at this service, i have also found the same kind of reviews from other people - would not recommend.

Our perfect wedding day - now a distant day with no albums

We got married on the 01/09/2016, over a year on (11/2017) we still have no photo albums and DVD of our pictures.  After having to upload the photos twice (lost the 1st upload).  We are still waiting and communication is a 1 way process, the last texted message was in August saying the albums were 80% complete.

Do not book Workhorse. I would encourage you to look at alternative suppliers for your wedding photography. I wish I had seen these reviews prior to our wedding, I will do my best to ensure I post a review everywhere possible. During the lead up to the wedding, various mistakes were made, it has all added up to show what an unreliable and unprofessional service he provides. Greg sent us the wrong details for our engagement shoot link, he turned up late on our wedding day, we paid £150 for a guest book with photos from our engagement shoot in (so that guest could sign and see then pics) and he got my husband’s name wrong. He said he would rectify it but nine months later, it still hasn’t arrived. We are also still waiting for the canvas, which was part of the ‘gold’ package. When I chased him for it, he said WE owe him money for extra pages in the wedding album but nothing was said about that at the time of photo selection. The wedding album itself took seven months, which numerous phone calls and emails chasing him. His communication is poor, as is the service he provides. Do not book Workhorse.

Do not use this company. We hired Greg's services for our wedding in spring last year. On the day he was fine and took lots of great photos. He then lost a hard drive that contained our favourite pictures causing a delay. We are still waiting for our photo album 10 months after the wedding, his communication is awful - he does not answer phone calls, text messages, emails or social media.

i would actively recommend you choose someone else to capture your special day. He has ruined part of the memory of our wedding for us and I would not wish this ridiculous service on my worst enemies.
