Hi, my name is Abigail Brooks and I'm a professionally trained makeup artist with many years experience in applying makeup on 100's of different faces for weddings, proms, parties, photo shoots and more. This experience has given me a clear understanding of the colours, styles and application techniques that suit specific face shapes, complexions and skin types. Not only that, but I have a superb knowledge of how to ensure makeup looks flawless all day long and photographs beautifully.
I specialise in makeup for weddings and special events because I love making women feel and look beautiful for an important day/night in their life. I believe that makeup should be used as a way of highlighting a person's best features and not as a mask or disguise and love seeing the transformation that is possible through correctly applied makeup.
My kit contains premium brands such as Chanel, Bobbi Brown, MAC and Nars so you can rest assured that your makeup will look beautiful, photograph well and last all day. Having said this, I also have a good knowledge of great, more affordable alternatives so am able to give product recommendations to suit any budget.
In addition to makeup, I also specialise in semi-permanent individual eyelash extensions. If you're a busy mum who doesn't have a lot of spare time in the morning to apply makeup, or just someone who likes to feel glamorous and presentable at all times, then these lash extensions are a perfect solution. Once applied they can last up to 4-6 weeks, giving that 'put together' look with no effort from you!
The false lashes adhere to your individual natural lashes to give a seamless finish and whether you are looking for a classic, natural look or all-out glamour, either can be achieved depending on the amount of lashes applied!
I have trained with Louise Constad, Illamasqua, Bare Minerals and Gateways Workshops and am a registered professional with the Guild of Beauty Therapists. I continue attending training courses regularly to expand my knowledge and skills.
