Handcrafted Guest Books, Photo Albums and Bespoke Wedding Stationery
Paper Memories was founded by me, Sarah Morgan, back in 2001 with the aim of creating beautiful, bespoke, handcrafted photo albums and guest books that people would treasure.
How it all began
I’ve always been a crafty type. As a child I loved to draw, and as I grew, my passion moved into watercolour painting and sketching, but everything changed, however, when I got married.
My wedding experience
When I got married, I loved all the preparations but one thing I struggled with was finding the right wedding stationery. After weeks of searching I thought ‘Why don't I make my own?’ So I did just that.
Not only did I love the creative process of designing and creating my own wedding invites, guest books, guest list and photo albums, but I was overwhelmed by the positive feedback from my guests.
Soon, this one off project became my full time hobby. I started attending wedding fairs, checking out wedding stationery online, and I always felt that I could do better!
A leap of faith
So in 2001 I decided to be brave and founded Paper Memories, so that other people could enjoy handcrafted wedding stationery. Three years ago I decided to focus more on Guest Books and have since added Photo Albums and Wedding Card boxes but have found over the past 6 months I have had many requests for stationery too so I enjoy being able to offer the complete stationery package for couples.
Spreading the love
I still get a huge amount of pleasure out of working with my customers to create their dream-wedding album, guest book and stationery. My products fly all over the world and it gives me a warm glow to think that something I’ve created becomes a special part of so many weddings, birthdays and other celebrations.

Absolutely beautiful work.
I ordered place settings, table plan and a guest book from Papermemories for my wedding last minute as previous supplier could not deliver. She matched my theme spot on and was quick to respond to emails. I can't thank her enough for saving my day. Her work was so good I even ditched the photographers photo album and ordered one from her. Great value for money, you get more than what you pay for. You only do it once!

Guest Book & Matching Card Box
The card post box is absolutely stunning. It’s the perfect size, beautifully made and reasonably priced for such a high quality item. I bought it with the matching guest book and am thrilled with both items. Paper Memories are brilliant sellers and went out of their way to make sure the wording on the box was exactly as I specified. I cannot praise them or their merchandise enough.

I ordered a guestbook, postbox, table plan, table names and a couple of signs from Paper Memories for our wedding. I absolutely love them all and would definitely recommend them to any one wanting some unique wedding stationery.

Terrible customer service and rude emails from them
Unfortunately the lady that runs this business has been the most rude, unhelpful and non communicative supplier I have met to date. I enquired whether she could add a few bespoke features to a guest book design she sells, and emailed across pictures for inspiration from designs I had seen elsewhere. Initially Sarah Morgan said she could and would be able to produce this book after I sent her am exact drawing of the additional features I was after. She changed her mind and took her time to tell me this. This is all apparently because she said she did not have a tiny 5 inch strip lace part of the design ...so I tried to be helpful by telling her I had the lace and could attach this component myself if that would be helpful. She then responded (two weeks later whilst I assumed she was completing my design) to say she considers this a "DIY project" and so can no longer produce my order. What nonsense. I was trying to be helpful. I then emailed back to say she can use whatever lace she likes that she has but I would still like to order the guest book from her. She then replied to say she is too busy. She has never once answered the telephone number for her business listed on her website or on her email signature in the last two months. This lady is rude, unhelpful and clearly unable to work professionally with customers to produce simple designs. I would not recommend her if you want any bespoke detail.
I have asked for an apology and am yet to receive one.

I do not copy work done by other people.
This lady contacted me twice, first she requested that I copy someone else's design and work of a seller on Amazon, I politely refused as its unethical.
This lady then contacted me again 3 months later but took a slightly different approach and initially I did think she was asking me to make her a bespoke book, until I realised that it was the same person who had contacted me 3 months earlier and that she wanted me to copy the same work as she emailed me previously, so again I declined, despite providing my reasons for saying no this lady insisted on emailing me and phoning I felt I had no option but to say I was too busy to fit her in.
I was then asked if I could make part of a book and send it to her unfinished, I declined, I do not supply materials for DIY projects and I do not supply products half finished.
I felt that i had been put in a very awkward situation where I was faced with someone who simply could not accept no and so I could not have been more polite or more professional in my response. I am more than happy to produce bespoke designs but please do not send me a photo of a designers work and request I copy it.
