After dashing around COSTCO tonight, picking up lobster, scallops and tiger prawns for my 'fish supper' this weekend, I stood in the queue to pay with a bride-to-be and her mom. We chatted about their forthcoming wedding in a couple of weeks time. Melanie, the bride, said she'd used White Wedding Pages to plan every part of her wedding, even down to the designer wedding dress she bought from a Gail's List discount recommendation. Mum also chipped in with how she picked her stylish navy and white outfit from Millarde Fashions who she met at The Belfry Wedding Fayre, organised by our daughter Natalie, of Just Exhibitions.

Soon it was our turn at the checkout, so we wished Melanie and her mom 'all the very best' for the wedding day, but before we left, Melanie asked us to deliver half a dozen copies of White Wedding Pages to her, because at least five other girls she worked at the hospital with were planning a wedding. After taking her address, we jotted down our next wedding fayre dates at Chesford Grange, on the 12th September, St. Johns Hotel Solihull on the 26th September and The Belfry on the 3rd October. "Make sure they all come", we told Melanie, so that they can get some really useful wedding tips and advice from over 170 wedding professionals.

What a busy day it's been in the office too, with The Wedding Barn at Ufton booking all four of their wedding services into the Chesford Grange wedding fayre and St. John's Hotel wedding fayre. Harmony Beauty of Knowle also booked, keen to meet brides coming to Chesford Grange, who would need expert hair and beauty advice.

So now it's feet up, time to relax and catch my breath, while I read up on some really tasty fish recipes for the weekend.
