Award Winning Chefs At War - Let The Battle of Eden Commence

Award-winning chefs from the luxury Eden Hotel Collection are going head to head in all out kitchen warfare to take guests on a mouth watering culinary journey this September.

The five strong gathering of skilled chefs, each from a different kitchen throughout the privately owned collection, are coming to Michelin starred Mallory Court Hotel in Leamington Spa to sharpen their knives and gather their utensils in preparation of the greatest gastronomic battle Warwickshire has ever seen.

This is the first event of its kind for the Eden Hotel Collection, which comprises of Mallory Court in Leamington Spa, Buckland Tout-Saints in Devon, The Kings Hotel in Chipping Campden and The Arden Hotel in Stratford-upon-Avon.

Brockencote Hall Hotel, a Victorian Mansion in the heart of Worcestershire has also recently been acquired by the group.

Guests will gather for Champagne and canapés before embarking on a five course gourmet meal, each course cooked by a different chef. An explanation of the courses, without revealing the creator of the course, will be given by Eden’s Executive Chef Simon Haigh, who holds the Michelin star in the kitchens at Mallory Court.

Accompanying the courses will be specially chosen selections of fine wines and Champagnes, which will be included in the price.

Guests to the fine dining experience will then cast their votes on their favourite courses, the scores will be totalled and the winning chef will claim their title of ultimate victor of The Battle of Eden.

Executive Chef Simon Haigh commented,

'Our food at Eden Hotel Collection is firmly based on seasonality. Our menus are constantly evolving, encompassing modern techniques and trends whilst also revisiting things that have been long forgotten. We are also a firm believer in using what is on our doorstep, whether that is from a local supplier or harvesting produce from our kitchen gardens.

The Battle of Eden promises to be a fantastic event, allowing all our talented chefs to get together will the sole aim of cooking their hearts out to provide an evening of culinary delight for our guests.’
