John Lewis Solihull are hosts to this Skin Cancer Awareness Event.

With skin cancer, and the malignant melanoma type on the increase in the UK, especially with young people under the age of 25yrs, this event will raise awareness for the disease.

Rates of skin cancer are soaring among young people in the West Midlands.

Figures released by Cancer Research UK on April 6 revealed that more than two people under 35 in Britain are diagnosed with malignant melanoma – the deadliest form of skin cancer – each day. And shockingly, this means that in the West Midlands, one person aged 15 to 34 is diagnosed with malignant melanoma every week.

The latest figures also show that around 825 people of all ages are diagnosed with malignant melanoma in the West Midlands every year.

So, join Penny Birch at John Lewis Solihull for a special fashion workshop on Thursday, 29 September from 5:30pm. Apart from raising money for the charity, you'll come away knowing;

How to make the most of your assets
The difference between looking good and looking amazing
How to make the most of your existing outfits

The evening welcomes you with a Cava and canapes reception with the show starting at 6:30pm. After the show, you can enjoy exclusive shopping in Beauty and Fashion after the store has closed.

Tickets are £20 inc. a goody bag and can be purchased from Gift List on the First floor or contact Penny Birch on 07810 550563. Places are limited so please book early.
