Well, here it is, the first day back in the office, a cup of tea and the post waiting on my desk and the Wedding Fair season already underway!

I do SO love January; after the mad dash of December to get reprints and wedding album orders completed, it's great to take a breath and meet couples at the Fairs planning their own Big Day.

From September last year, I started producing complimentary coffee table albums for all weddings where I shoot a full day's coverage. As I provide all clients with the proof print images on discs as JPEG files, the coffee table photobooks allow me to come over all arty and creative even if the couple themselves defer on ordering an album from me for a while.

I'm also busy putting together collections for some of the stunning venues I've worked at during 2010; Sandon Hall, Somerford Hall, Caverswall Castle, The Moat House and Grafton Manor to mention but a few. They're great to show couples at wedding fairs and client appointments.

Other plans for 2011 include running a series of 'Photoshop for Wedding Albums' courses around my kitchen table. I ran the first two in October last year, initially intended for brides and grooms who wanted to get the most out of their discs of JPEGS but I also had a bridesmaid, a best man and a mother of the bride come along!

Great fun and thank you to all of those who brought cake and biscuits to keep us going!

Well, must get to it but wishing you all a very happy New Year and lots of love and luck for your own Big Day!
