Hats or fascinators? - That is the question

Lots of ladies still like the elegance of a hat to complete their outfit, but as you have to remove your hat to eat at the reception, you can be left with "hat hair" - and not everyone can pull a Nicky Clarke hairstyle out of the bag! Fascinators have been very popular this year - even the big ones - and they can look just as elegant as a hat. Just make sure that you are wearing the fascinator and it is not wearing you - it shouldn't be bigger than your head, and if it's on a headband, then that should be covered with your hair. Speak to your hairdresser before you buy so that they can advise on the best size for your hair and whether it's best to have your fascinator on a band, a comb or a clip - (ladies with very fine hair can have problems keeping a fascinator on a comb in place as they tend to slip). So ladies, fascinators have been the most popular this year, but who knows what next year will bring!
