Introducing Molly, a beautiful barn owl ring bearer.
Molly was hatched on 21st June 2009, and we picked her up from the breeder, four weeks later, when she was just a ball of down. Molly then lived with us in the house for the next ten weeks until she was old enough to go out into her aviary. She learned how to fly around our lounge and we took her out with us whenever we could to socialise her. This means that she has been imprinted on us, so we are like Mum and Dad to her. This is a great help with owls when it comes to the training and general handling of them.
Molly is brilliant with people and because of her lovely nature, stunning beauty and heart shaped face is perfect for weddings.
As a barn owl ring bearer Molly is guaranteed to wow the guests at any wedding as she swoops down the aisle between the rows of unsuspecting guests. We always manage to keep it a secret! Molly lands gracefully on the white glove of the Best Man, or even the Bride, bearing the rings attached to her anklet by a white silk ribbon. Along with the oooh's and aaah's she has even had spontaneous rounds of applause from the guests.
After the ceremony Molly is available for the photographs and meeting the guests, who also have the chance to hold and photograph her.
