Harriet P. Jenkins is a professional Classical Singer based in Belfast and Newtownards, Co.Down - available for private formal functions such as weddings, private recitals and corporate events. The addition of a professional classical singer to your special day or event can add a romantic backdrop or a sophisticated touch of entertainment - making the day or evening truly special.
Harriet is a classically trained Mezzo-Soprano, training in both Northern Ireland & England. She is a previous NI Musician of the Year Finalist and has a Masters degree in Musicology. She is a past member of New Lyric Operatic Company.
She is an experienced Classical Singer with extensive performance experience, including concert work, solo recital work, touring chamber choir work along with television and radio recordings, 3 years as a Cambridge University Choral Scholar & wedding solo work. She continues balancing solo commitments, including recent work with the UCD Choral Scholars in Dublin which involved concert and RTE appearances, with teaching classical singing at a national music school.
Harriet maintains an extensive repertoire portfolio and has a wide performance experience. Her repertoire is flexible and includes opera, classical, musical theatre, folk and 20th century music genres.
Fees are variable depending on several factors including location, number of pieces required, and will be structured either to include an accompanist or not depending on requirements.
